Broad coverage. A curved profile. Built for work on a larger scale.

Inkclaw 1443RM Round Magnum Tattoo Cartridge Needles combine a 43-needle configuration, #14 / 0.40 mm diameter, and medium taper in a curved magnum arrangement.

For artists working across substantial areas of color, solid black, or background shading, the 1443RM offers a large-format option with a clearly defined purpose: broad coverage rather than fine-detail work.

Made for Large-Area Tattooing

Choose the 1443RM when the composition calls for a larger working footprint.

Color Packing & Solid Fills
Work across broad sections of color in traditional, neo-traditional, and other large-scale designs.

Blackwork & Blackout Sections
Approach substantial areas of solid black with a large needle grouping selected for coverage.

Background Shading & Color Blending
Build broad tonal transitions and background fields where a smaller cartridge would require a more localized approach.

The right choice depends on the area being worked—not simply the overall size of the tattoo. Keep smaller configurations available for tight corners, narrow transitions, and detail.

A Curved Magnum Profile for Shading and Blending

Round Magnum needles are also known as Curved Magnum or Soft Edge Magnum needles. Their needle tips form a curved working edge rather than the straight edge of a conventional magnum.

This profile supports a softer shading edge, making curved magnums a useful choice for blending and broad tonal transitions. The 1443RM brings that familiar geometry to a 43-needle configuration.

Understanding the 1443RM Configuration

14 identifies the #14 / 0.40 mm needle diameter.
43 identifies the number of needles in the grouping.
RM identifies the Round Magnum configuration.

The 0.40 mm diameter is larger than a #12 / 0.35 mm needle diameter, making this a distinct option for artists who prefer a larger-diameter setup. It is supplied with a medium taper.

Needle diameter and needle count describe different characteristics: 0.40 mm is the diameter of each individual needle, not the overall width of the grouping.

Inkclaw Quality Process

At Inkclaw, cartridge development starts with the details that shape an artist’s working experience: needle grouping, taper geometry, and practical configuration choices.

Our focus is purposeful design—giving artists clearly defined tools for different techniques, working areas, and preferences.

Built Around Real Artists

Designed around the way artists work.

Professional feedback helps guide the development of Inkclaw cartridges, from familiar configurations to specialized needle structures.

The 1443RM expands that choice for artists working at a larger scale, combining a substantial needle count with a curved magnum profile.
